Pediatric Dentists
Hassan Oueis, DDS

Furthermore, Dr. Oueis completed an esteemed two-year advanced fellowship program in pediatric dentistry at The Ohio State University.
For nearly a decade, Dr. Oueis served as the director of the graduate program of pediatric dentistry at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan, contributing significantly to the education and training of numerous pediatric dentists. Prior to this, he taught for five years at the University of Detroit Mercy. Dr. Oueis is also actively engaged in research and has authored numerous research articles in esteemed dental journals, both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Oueis is the founder of Children’s Dental Care, the leading pediatric dental practice in Canton and Dearborn. Our office is designed with children’s comfort in mind, featuring bright and cheerful surroundings to help them feel relaxed during their visit.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Oueis enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three children. He also indulges in hobbies such as traveling, soccer, and reading.
Rehab Zaki, DDS

Following her education, Dr. Zaki began her career at St. Bernard’s Hospital in Chicago before transitioning to a role as a full-time assistant professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where she taught for nearly four years. Driven by her passion for serving children with special needs in Detroit, she later joined Children’s Dental Center as the director of the pediatric dentistry residency clinic.
We are delighted to welcome Dr. Zaki to our team as a full-time pediatric dentist. She is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and maintains professional memberships with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Michigan Dental Association.
Dr. Zaki resides in Novi with her husband and two daughters, Talia and Tayma. They cherish spending time outdoors and exploring various destinations in Michigan.
Arianne Swanson, DDS

Her professional experience includes a pediatric dental residency at the University of Michigan/Mott Children’s Health Center, where she provided comprehensive dental care to children, including those with special health needs. She employed behavior management techniques and sedation methods to ensure the best outcomes.
Dr. Swanson also served as Lead Facilitator for the 180 Program Youth Training and Development, mentoring at-risk youth and teaching life skills. Her clinical practice includes providing dental care in private practices like Kids Smiles Pediatric Dentistry and mobile clinics such as Dentist R Us Mobile Clinic.
Throughout her career, Dr. Swanson has performed thousands of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, and comprehensive treatment planning. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and engaging in activities with her family.
Shinechimeg Dima, DDS

Dr. Dima's clinical experience includes residency training at Boston Medical Center and Franciscan Children’s Hospital, where she provided comprehensive oral health care to pediatric patients, including those with special needs. She is proficient in behavior management techniques and experienced with nitrous oxide, conscious sedation, and general anesthesia.
Her research contributions are extensive, with multiple publications and presentations at international conferences. Dr. Dima has also served as a teaching assistant in pediatric dentistry courses and participated in various community service projects.
Fluent in Mongolian and English, and proficient in Russian and Mandarin, Dr. Dima enjoys traveling, hiking, tennis, swimming, and playing musical instruments in her free time.
Salam Alsadiq, DDS

She completed her advanced studies in Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University, where she also earned a master's degree with a focus on diagnosing children with sleep apnea and its correlation with behavioral disorders and ADHD.
Dr. Alsadiq served as an assistant professor at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, specializing in pediatric dentistry. Additionally, she provided care at the Dimock Health Center in Boston, catering to children of all ages and those with special healthcare needs.
Prior to her specialization in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Alsadiq pursued a master's degree in Dental Sciences and a postgraduate degree in Orofacial Pain at Tufts University, focusing on treating patients experiencing facial pain following orthodontic treatment.
Her dental degree was earned at Misr University for Science and Technology, where she also completed her internship. Dr. Alsadiq’s dedication to excellence has been recognized through awards such as the NuSmile Graduate Student Research Award in 2018 and the Dr. Richard Allard Scholarship for Excellence in Pediatric Dental Research.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Alsadiq finds joy in outdoor activities, reading, and spending cherished moments with her children.
Dina Naser, DDS

Dr. Naser's professional experience includes roles as a general dentist and pediatric dentist at various institutions, including The Graceful Smile Dental in Milan, MI, and Al Ajaji Dental Polyclinic in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She has served as an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the University of Michigan and has been recognized with awards such as the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Award.
Dr. Naser holds dental licenses in Michigan, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Michigan Dental Association, and American Dental Association. She is actively involved in community service, volunteering with programs like Give Kids a Smile and the HUDA Clinic.
Carla Jones, DDS

Active in organizations like the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the National Dental Association, Dr. Jones has organized community service projects and provided dental care to underserved communities both locally and internationally. She has presented at conferences and contributed to publications in the NDA Flossline Journal, with international service experience in Kenya and Jamaica.
June Chu-Chun Hsiao, DDS

As a board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Hsiao instructs in both predoctoral and graduate pediatric dental clinics. She specializes in behavior management for pediatric patients and providing care for children with special healthcare needs. Additionally, she pursues research into new materials for pulp therapy.
Outside of her clinical and academic pursuits, Dr. Hsiao is dedicated to volunteering for dental missions abroad. She is fluent in Mandarin and resides in Ann Arbor with her husband and daughter. Her interests include spending quality time with her family, traveling, and playing the piano.
